Pixxo 3D - Fast and easy making MoCap Cloth Sims in Blender

Pixxo 3D has recently shared a fast and easy tutorial on how to use Adobe Motion Capture characters Mixamo with Blender 3.0 Cloth simulation, to create an animation of a character with cloth motion.

Some of the presented steps are:

  • Exporting the character with MoCap from Mixamo.
  • Preparing blender file and importing the FBX.
  • Using Decimate modifier and clothing mesh.
  • Adding cloth simulation and collision.
  • Applying UV, adjusting, and editing it with the texture.
  • Cloth Caching, setting camera, and lighting.
  • Shader Nodes and adding motion blur.
  • Rendering the animation.
